Tuesdays in April and May from 4:30-5:15, band students in grades 6-12 will meet outside for a special 2-month class culminating in a final performance under the baton of John McAlister. Students will work on major scales and fun pep band repertoire. Students will remain socially distanced outdoors and are encouraged to purchase bell covers for their instruments.
We offer one on one lessons in piano, acoustic, electric, and bass guitar, ukulele, mandolin, voice, percussion, brass and woodwind instruments! Starting ages vary by instrument, but no age is too old to start! *First grade is the minimum starting age for private piano lessons.
Parent-Preschool is a weekly 35-minute class designed for students ages 6 months to 5 years old and a parent/ caregiver. We will explore music using movement and percussion instruments. Parents: no musical experience necessary! This class is made for fun! An individual instrument kit is included in the $30 registration fee, so each child has their own sanitary set of materials. This class is offered Monday at 11 AM and Wednesday at 1 PM.
Students in grades K-4 will explore concepts of sound, learn about rhythm and fundamentals of music in this fun 45 minute class! Registration is on a month to month basis. (FULL)
For students 3rd grade and up, learn to play the ukulele in a small group setting. This is a weekly, 45 minute class taught on Mondays at 2:30 PM. Students are required to bring their own instrument. Taught by Tucker Flythe. *Space available for 2021 with a small audition to show basic skills.
For students grades 6-12, have a blast learning rhythm in a small group setting through the exploration of various instruments and even some bucket drumming! This is a weekly, 45 minute class that meets on Thursdays from 4:30-5:15. Taught by Paul Bakeman. (FULL)
